The talks
The Thing from Another World
Ludwig Neste
There are monsters in the cosmos—and ghostly particles that can help us find them. Ludwig will take us to the South Pole, where IceCube catches faint blue flashes in the Antarctic ice to trace neutrinos back to some of the most violent places in the universe.
The ghost in the fabric: where spacetime begins and ends
Roukaya Dekhil
What if space and time are not as fundamental as we think? Roukaya will follow spacetime back to its cradle and forward to its grave, exploring how it might emerge from something deeper and where our familiar picture breaks down. Bring a torch.
